The brand

London Campers are a leading campervan rental company in – you guessed it – London. The brand offers modern and vintage campervans to holidaymakers, festival-goers and even the odd rockstar. The brand has a fleet of around 15 VW campers ranging from brand new ‘all-mod-con’ vans, to retro 80’s buses.

The challenge

London Campers came to us with a tired website that was under-utilising the value of the brand and offered little to users in the way of information or experience. Further complicating matters, the company had sadly been let down by a website developer, who was unable or unwilling to complete their website. This left the team with little time and a partially exhausted will to develop another new website – but we got them back on the road! They required integration with their primary booking tool, an exhaustive FAQ page, solid SEO copy and an appealing visual.

The approach

We created a website to build upon the company’s existing reputation, keeping the positive links garnered during the tenure of their old website and adding solid SEO copy and on-site booking. This put the company front and centre for potential direct customers – worth significantly more to the business than bookers via 3rd party platforms. Fifty-Eight Digital and London Campers continue to work together. We currently support the brand with hosting and email, as well as ad-hoc updates to the website.
