The brand

From three offices, across the Midlands and the Southwest, Lime Hospitality supplies catering and hospitality staff to major events, hotels, function venues and sporting stadia. The business also offers countrywide permanent recruitment for chefs and other hospitality professionals.

The challenge

In 2025, Lime Recruit became Lime Hospitality, leading to a complete overhaul of the visual and functional elements of the website designed by Fifty-Eight Digital in 2019, complete with new logo, colours and fonts. In 2019, Lime Recruit came to Fifty-Eight Digital looking to replace their outmoded website with a fully responsive design that would incorporate a number of overlooked areas of the business. They needed a fully integrated application form and a way for staff and clients to confirm hours digitally. They also needed a full-function location-based job search. The company was keen to offer their workforce of over 1,000 temporary catering and hospitality staff a portal, allowing them not only to use digital timesheets but also to request holiday, learn from a selection of resources, access employment policies and update their personal details.

The approach

Beginning with the company’s existing colour pallet, font and logo, we created a presentable and functional website. The resultant site empowers staff with work-related information, via the portal and enables users to confirm hours worked via an integrated timesheet with signature confirmation. The jobs search facility gives Lime’s office team a great place to share all current full and part-time positions and applicants for all manner of catering and hospitality work are able to work through a comprehensive application form, with all rights to work and experience covered. The output of this application form is now integrated with the company’s staff management software too, allowing for 1 click uploads of successful applicants.
